The Office environment is significantly different than the operational environment and the same “factory tools” simply don’t transfer into the office workplace. For this reason, SBTI has developed a very specific Office LEAN LEADER™ program that focuses on the Transactional Wastes that are found in the office environment. For example, the mapping process identifies hand-off wastes, cross-functional and cross-resource wastes. Customer alignment is more focused on the approval and Customer Service as the Voice of the Customer.
