Organizational change is a key part in any deployment. The HR function is led through mechanisms to ensure there are clear roles and responsibilities defined, as well as reward and recognition for all involved. A key decision is whether to use resources part or full time as Project Leaders. Addresses the pros and cons of each with the intent of setting a precedent moving forward. If full-time Project Leaders are chosen a Succession Plan must be invoked and the Project Leaders should have a clear future Career Plan. Appropriate remuneration and organizational reward should be considered and standards set well in advance of the situation arising. Lean and Six Sigma involve culture change within the business and a change in organizational structure: job descriptions, accountability, reward and recognition.
