A common desire with most executives and deployment leaders is for the projects in their Lean Sigma deployments to go more quickly. SBTI’s Accelerated methodology achieves that by insertion of two focused acceleration events into the regular Lean Sigma roadmap.
Discovery Event: Oftentimes Lean Sigma projects are slow to get going. A two (2) day event, shortly after the project launch, is aimed at quickly understanding the process through mapping techniques, developing the primary data collection plans and identifying any obvious quick hits.
Implementation Event: Many Lean Sigma projects are also slow at the point of implementation in the Improve Phase. A (typically) four (4) day event is used to develop the detailed design, implement the solution and set the rudimentary controls in place.
SBTI’s training in Accelerated Lean Sigma provides the strong foundation of traditional Lean Sigma, but with training and hands-on guidance and experience in executing the Discovery and Implementation Events.
